I heard this saying when I was in "the truth":
Whatever goes on in "the world," goes on in the organization.
So true.
i was just wondering if there is any official rules on dealing with this.
a sister in the congregation is planning to divorce her husband who is also a witness so she can marry a different brother in the same hall!
yes this is a huge scandal!

Thanks Petra & Atlantis.
I'm really thankful that the "slave's" property empire is so clearly supported by God Almighty:
"What has been accomplished to date is truly remarkable, giving evidence of Jehovah's blessing."
God has been busy watching over a building site??? Thank God for that!
do you think these would be a hit?
or would i get into trouble?.
Peter was referring to Christ when he said, “Whom shall we go away to?”
The WTBTS pervert this to mean "the “faithful and discreet slave” organization."
No difference, eh?
And JW's swallow it - hook, line, & sinker!
i wrote a letter some time ago and to my surprise and despite the elders manual saying that a letter is sufficient for establishing 'wrongdoing' they would not announce me as no longer a jw until i met with 2 elders to verbally acknowledge that the letter was written by me.. .
well yesterday i met with them and the meeting lasted 2 minutes.
"did you write the letter?
Well done Jared.
Do what Mr.Tate said.

antónio madaleno was a religious leader in jehovah's witnesses.
on the eve of a demonstration of strength of the organization, which in the next three days promises to fill the estádio da luz in an international congress, this former leader characterizes it as "a group of high control" and tells us his personal drama to get rid of it.".
Good!!
The silence of the lambs can turn into a roar.
i took a break from posting, but i'm back, and i wanted to share a story.
i grew up in a fundamentalist baptist church, i was never "one of jehovah's witnesses.
" what i know about jehovah's witnesses i learned from books, from attending services as a researcher, and from ex-witnesses like the posters of this site.
JW salvation depends on the compulsory recruitment programme.
You seem to be back in their cross-hairs. They'll forget all about you if you start asking about the org's "inconvenient truths." Or simply tell them to sod off and leave you alone!
Knowledge frightens them far more, though.
over the past few days i have twice visited screwfix - a uk nationwide company which sells tools & fixings.. on my first visit, i informed the store assistant of the item i required.
she immediately said, "post-code?".
i informed her that it was a cash sale and there was no need to give information.
GORBY, good idea -
Postcode? SW1 2AA
House Number? 10
:)

Over the past few days I have twice visited SCREWFIX - a UK nationwide company which sells tools & fixings.
On my first visit, I informed the store assistant of the item I required. She immediately said, "POST-CODE?"
I informed her that it was a CASH SALE and there was no need to give information. "OK" she said, and then called out to a supervisor to key in a code number on the computer terminal in order to process my order. (WHY?)
Two days later I returned. Same girl. When I gave her the order, she said "NAME?"
I said, "It's a cash sale, I don't want to receive love-letters from Screwfix." She had to request the code number again!
If I buy a newspaper or a Snickers bar, I don't get asked for my name, address, & postcode.
Maybe next time I go into Screwfix I should just wear one of these -
when i walked into a large b&q diy store, a big guy in an orange overall came right up to me and said, "do you want decking?".
i thought i'd better get in first, so i punched him as hard as i could..

so my brother who never got baptized went to the convention today (went to make mom and dad happy since they are devastated that i am out) and he got very upset during the baptism talk and walked out because 3 of the candidates were under the age of 12 years of age.
he said they have no clue what they are committing themselves to and will face what you faced (referring to me).
i really wish the usa government would start cracking down on this cult..
